We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team. As a senior practice accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing a broad range of accounting and financial services.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, auditing, insolvency, tax, and tax compliance. They will be responsible for preparing, analysing, and presenting financial reports for clients, providing strategic financial advice, and developing budgeting and forecasting models.
Additionally, the successful candidate will lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements. They will also identify and address areas of risk, develop strategies for asset recovery and distribution, and provide tax planning advice.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, address their queries, and provide timely, accurate advice. You will also supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing training and development opportunities.
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Requirements include being a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a practice environment.
