Job Overview

OASIS Group is seeking a highly motivated Special Seating Clinician to join our team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary clinical, engineering, and technical team to provide a user-focused service.

About the Role
  • This position involves working independently with a clinical caseload, assessing, prescribing, and providing special seating solutions for wheelchair users with complex needs.
  • You will be accountable for documentation of service user intervention according to professional norms.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessing and delivering high-quality clinical services, including assessment, prescription, delivery, handover, and review of posture positioning and related mobility equipment.
  2. Communicating effectively with colleagues, service users, relatives, carers, and other professionals.
  3. Contribute to the development of the service, supporting review, further development, and promotion of SeatTech's suite of seating assessment training courses, establishing collaborative research partnerships, and transitioning to digital technologies.
Requirements
  • An honours degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
  • Training in anatomy and physiology and understanding of postural management principles.
  • Three years' experience in the sector, with specific experience in wheelchairs and adaptive seating.
  • Demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development.
