About the Job:

Northern Trust, a forward-thinking financial services company, is recruiting a Compliance and Risk Associate to support its AML operations team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate completion of daily workload allocations, which may include investor onboarding, transaction monitoring, and screening alerts.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of investor documentation to ensure compliance with AML regulations and Northern Trust's policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address potential risks associated with investor accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Northern Trust Transfer Agency and Client Services Departments.
  • Provide expert advice on AML-related matters to internal and external parties.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to AML operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
