Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislation, developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures, and promoting a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Regulations: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and best practices, advising management on changes and their implications.
  • Policy and Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and management systems.
  • Risk Management and Incident Control: Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and workplace inspections. Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Training and Awareness: Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to employees and contractors. Foster a safety-first culture by engaging with staff at all levels.
  • Audits and Reporting: Lead internal and external EHS audits, inspections, and certifications. Prepare and present EHS performance reports, KPIs, and improvement plans to senior management.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and test emergency response and crisis management plans. Coordinate fire drills, evacuation plans, and first-aid readiness.
  • Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship: Drive initiatives to minimize environmental impact, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource conservation. Monitor environmental compliance and reporting obligations.
