We are seeking compassionate and detail-oriented healthcare professionals to join our team as Functional Specialists.
In this role, you will use your clinical knowledge to carry out functional assessments and compile evidence-based reports that help inform decisions about benefit claims.
- Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions.
- Compile clear, concise, and factual medical reports.
- Collaborate with regional managers and administrators to meet service level agreements.
- One year's post-registration experience as a nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), occupational therapist, physiotherapist, paramedic, or doctor.
- Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, GMC) without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- A professional, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
- A competitive basic starting salary of £38,500, increasing to £39,500 upon meeting approval.
- Over 100 hours of CPD in the first three months.
- 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after five years) with the opportunity to buy extra leave.
- Annual professional registration fee reimbursed and supported revalidation.
