Job Title: Night Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Night Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end running of our cross-docking process. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining a high level of health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of night-time operations at the assigned cross dock, including scheduling, sorting, and dispatch.
  • Directly manage personnel assigned to the role, including indirect supervision of third-party employees/drivers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to site rules and regulations.
  • Coordinate activities, including goods in/out, transport, and staff.
  • Demonstrate sustained high performance and effective delivery of results.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, customers, drivers, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a counterbalance truck license is preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience working in a busy warehouse environment is desired.
  • A Manual Handling Certificate is required.
