Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Director to join our organization and contribute to the success of our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely production of diverse tax reporting forms.

You will collaborate with internal teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional business processes, identify automation opportunities, and enhance client experiences. Your expertise in tax projects will enable you to refine processes and procedures, including cross Line of Business (LOB) strategic initiatives.

As a Tax Director, you will be responsible for ensuring a robust control environment that meets risk and audit requirements is maintained. You will analyze data for consistency and accuracy, coordinate with relevant teams to implement necessary adjustments, and deliver tax education and training as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely production of diverse tax reporting forms
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional business processes to identify automation opportunities and enhance client experiences
  • Assisting in tax projects to refine processes and procedures, including cross LOB strategic initiatives
  • Ensuring a robust control environment that meets risk and audit requirements is maintained
  • Analyzing data for consistency and accuracy; coordinating with relevant teams to implement necessary adjustments
  • Implementing and supporting business-as-usual processes for continuous information reporting and withholding compliance
  • Delivering tax education and training as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years PQE as a Tax Professional, with domestic and international experience
  • Strong academic background in tax, law, accountancy, or related discipline
  • AEOI FATCA and CRS reporting experience
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative and motivated team player
  • Proven track record of managing teams across multiple jurisdictions and offices
Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Strong Global/US taxation knowledge
  • Management and mentoring experience of junior team members
  • Experience in taxation of share plan accounts
