Fitters Required

Our company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to carry out plant maintenance, preventative maintenance, and project work on a range of industrial equipment.

This role offers the opportunity to work on varied machinery and plant systems, with regular overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Work with hydraulics and mechanical automation systems.
• Maintain high standards of safety and follow established procedures.
• Collaborate effectively within the maintenance team to achieve production targets.

We are looking for a Trade qualified fitter with strong mechanical knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.

Solid understanding of maintenance processes and plant operations is essential.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team, with high attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Excellent troubleshooting skills are required, with knowledge of continuous improvement methodology being advantageous.

Electrical experience is beneficial but not essential.

This role offers competitive pay rates.

Regular overtime is available.
