Healthcare Educator Role

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a deep understanding of caring principles and be skilled in developing and delivering high-quality training programs. In this role, you will work closely with students to help them grasp the fundamentals of healthcare support work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive virtual and in-person training courses, incorporating pre-course preparation and resources
  • Deliver training in accordance with established plans and validation guidelines
  • Implement QQI policies and procedures throughout the delivery of training, instruction, and assessment of learners
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to learners to foster their growth and development
  • Support learners in accessing and navigating learning management systems
  • Model positive behaviors and actively promote a culture of excellence within the organization
  • Offer insightful feedback to learners
  • Assist staff and learners regarding any QQI-related queries
  • Submit all necessary work in a timely manner as specified by the Training and Learning Coordinator
Requirements:
  • QQI Level 6 Train the Trainer/QQI Level 6 Training & Development Special Purpose Award or higher
  • Certificate in Manual Handling & Patient Moving Handling Instruction
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Capacity to deliver accurate and timely results
  • Strong presentation skills both internally and externally
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to share knowledge effectively
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
