Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation of domestic EV charging systems and solar PV systems according to specifications and customer requirements
  • Safety compliance: Adhere to all relevant guidelines, codes, and regulations while working on electrical installations
  • Technical expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in electrical systems, equipment, and tools to ensure accurate and efficient installation and troubleshooting of EV car Chargers and PV installations
  • Customer service: Interact professionally with customers, addressing their inquiries and providing on-site support upon installation
  • Electrical testing, fault finding, and commissioning of systems to ensure compliance with current regulations and manufacturer guidelines
  • Complete and submit installation documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Provide excellent customer service on-site, including clear explanations of systems to homeowners

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Fully qualified electrician with Level 6 or equivalent qualification
  • Full clean driver's license (manual)
  • Knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Inspection and testing certification
  • Experience with domestic electrical installations, ideally including solar PV and EV charge points
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently, identifying electrical issues and implementing effective solutions
