Overview:

This role is ideal for a professional with a background in IT infrastructure and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technology environment, delivering large-scale projects, and providing technical support to EMEA executives and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure across various sites, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Deliver complex infrastructure projects, collaborating with global teams to achieve objectives.
  • Provide expert-level technical support to EMEA executives and clients, addressing their needs promptly.
  • Monitor and enhance the technology environment, ensuring it meets Northern Trust's strategic vision.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, business partners, and peers within the organization.
  • Oversee the audio-visual meeting room environment, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Manage stock levels and lifecycle of EUC hardware, optimizing resource utilization.
  • Liaise with senior management on matters affecting the EMEA business.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an infrastructure role, with a strong background in project management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, including building fit-outs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client servicing skills to provide top-notch technical support.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A third-level qualification within an IT discipline is highly beneficial.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and online meeting tools is essential.
