Orthodontic Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthodontic Specialist to provide complex orthodontic care in partnership with the HSE.

This role requires an individual with strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality orthodontic care for patients eligible for HSE treatment under Modified IOTN Eligibility Guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and adjust appliances for optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Offer preventive and interceptive orthodontic services to meet the needs of patients.
Key Qualifications:
  • Registration in the Register of Dentists of Ireland or entitlement to registration.
  • Registration in the Register of Dental Specialists for Ireland, division of Orthodontics, or entitlement to registration.
  • Satisfactory knowledge of administrative aspects of Orthodontic Services.
  • High standard of professional knowledge and satisfactory experience in Orthodontics.
  • Requisite knowledge and ability, including high standard of suitability and administrative capacity, for proper discharge of duties.
