The Role

We are seeking a skilled Social Care Worker to join our team at our new children's residential facility in County Dublin. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social care to young people, ensuring their physical, psychological, social, and emotional needs are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To work directly with young people in a home-like setting, developing a professional and caring relationship to ensure their needs are met.
  • Accompanying young people to appointments, meetings, holidays, and outings where appropriate.
  • Working in partnership with young people and their families/significant others to build, maintain, and support relationships.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a Level 7 qualification (degree) or above in a relevant field such as Social Care, Social Work, Health and Social, or Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. A full clean driving licence and experience working with children and young people in care are desirable but not essential.
