Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining advanced neurovascular models, working closely with R&D, commercial organization, and clinical teams to support pre-case planning.

They will design, procure, and fabricate preclinical tooling and fixtures, perform troubleshooting on new test systems/process problems, and summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from test results.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, prior experience in medical device development, and knowledge of brain anatomy are essential requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop advanced neurovascular models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support pre-case planning
  • Develop and implement validation strategies for new models and/or fixtures
  • Maintain the model electronic database and physician storage
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the model development work
Requirements:
  • Level 8 Degree in Engineering or applicable technical field
  • 2+ years' relevant experience within the medical device industry
  • Prior experience in medical device development, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and good leadership abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous segmentation experience converting medical imaging datasets (DICOMS) to CAD files for manufacturing
  • Knowledge of brain anatomy
