A financially skilled accountant is required to join a team responsible for financial closing and data quality.
- Ensure the quality of financial information for dedicated branches.
- Prepare contributors' packs and analytical review documents, including commentaries on profit and loss and balance sheet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of local reporting and various analysis requested by stakeholders.
- Post entries directly into the general ledger.
- Relationship with central teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing account reconciliations on a monthly/quarterly basis and producing documentation to audit current accounts.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently to meet aggressive targets.
- Direct reporting line to the controller in charge of countries.
- Support local controllers and regional controllers on delivering business as usual (BAU) deliverables.
- Anticipate calendars and organization to meet all accounting requirements and deadlines.
The successful candidate will drive resolution of any data issues impacting financial data and propose change and improvement in current processes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Part-qualified accountant.
- Industry accounting experience (desirable experience in insurance industry).
- Strong knowledge of accounting.
- Proficient with financial spreadsheet packages (e.g. Excel).
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data and manipulating data using excel formulas and pivots.
- Experience with various ERP systems.
