Job Description:

This key role involves overseeing the full HR function across both properties, from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement, learning and development, and performance management. As Cluster HR Manager, you will play a vital part in shaping a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment, Onboarding & Induction: Oversee the entire process for both Galway properties.
  • HRIS Management: Actively manage Alkimii (HRIS), ensuring accurate employee records and timely communications.
  • Learning & Development: Drive initiatives for continuous growth of team members at all levels.
  • Manager Support: Coach and guide managers in areas such as employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and performance management.
  • Performance Reviews: Lead the cycle and provide guidance on career progression.
  • Culture Promotion: Foster a culture of openness, inclusion, and respect across all departments.
  • Compliance & GDPR: Ensure adherence to Irish employment legislation and best practices.
  • Grievance & Conflict Resolution: Coordinate and support processes effectively.
  • Employee Retention: Track and identify areas for improvement.
  • HR Files & Budget Management: Maintain up-to-date files and oversee the budget for both Galway hotels.
  • Engagement Programs: Coordinate and support employee recognition and referral schemes.
Required Skills:
  • Proven HR Experience: Proven track record in HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor roles, ideally with multi-site exposure.
  • Irish Employment Law: Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Interpersonal & Organisational Skills: Excellent communication and organisational abilities, with a hands-on approach.
  • HR Systems: Confident in using HR systems (Alkimii experience advantageous).
  • Team Player: A collaborative individual who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments.
