Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Machine Operator to join our team at Bord na Mna Recycling Navan. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plant and machinery within our yard and waste transfer building.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the transport or waste industry, with a valid digger (360) licence and proficiency in the English language. A full C Licence, good time keeping skills, and eligibility to work in Ireland are also essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a range of heavy machinery, including 360 track machines, loading shovels, sweepers, forklifts, and shunter trucks.
  • Grading and sorting of waste streams to achieve maximum recovery levels.
  • Removal of unacceptable waste items.
  • Assist with other yard duties as specified by the yard depot manager.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the transport or waste industry.
  • A valid digger (360) licence.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • A full C Licence.
  • Good time keeping skills.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.
