Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Associate Director to lead and manage Quantity Surveying functions across a diverse portfolio of projects. Key responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation, monitoring and controlling project costs, advising on procurement strategies, risk management, and contract administration, conducting regular performance reviews, supporting and mentoring junior surveyors, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering excellent service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, RICS accreditation is desirable. You should have strong expertise in cost planning, estimating, and commercial management, as well as a proven track record across various construction sectors. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are essential, along with leadership ability to inspire and manage teams effectively. Knowledge of Building Contracts, including Public Contracts, and proficiency in relevant software such as Cubit and Excel are also required.
