Care Coordinator

  • Coordinating and scheduling homecare visits for clients.
  • Maintaining regular communication with carers, clients, and families.
  • Handling rota changes, cancellations, and emergency cover requirements.
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new care staff where necessary.
  • Complying with HIQA standards and internal policies.
  • Providing administrative support to the care team as required.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in scheduling, administration, or coordination (preferably in healthcare or homecare).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with care management systems.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, etc.).
  • Knowledge of HIQA / HSE standards (desirable but not essential).
  • A positive, solution-focused attitude.
