This is a call center representative position in a remote work environment. The role involves handling patient calls, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and empathetic manner.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to handle heavy phone volume, and have the ability to multi-task. They should also be detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering patient calls and addressing concerns
  • Forwarding calls as necessary to alternate billing departments
  • Determining resolutions to customer issues while adhering to client rules and expectations
  • Following through with all requests, which may require calling alternate parties, emailing or faxing information

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills, including basic understanding of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Some insurance billing knowledge is preferred, but full training will be provided
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
  • Ability to handle pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential for this role
