Job Title: Bus Driver Training

This exciting opportunity involves delivering a quality customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of buses. As a bus driver, you will be responsible for providing a positive experience for our customers.

Requirements:

  • A valid Irish driving licence Category B (for a minimum of 2 years) or Category C with no endorsements
  • A valid Irish D Licence Learner Permit
  • A valid Irish CPC Bus Case Study sheet (Please note, the CPC bus case study is only valid for a period of 2 years from its date of issue)

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Benefits:

  • An allowance of €618 per week gross while training to obtain Full D Class Licence
  • €775.84 per week after obtaining Category D Licence
  • Up to €898.22 in Year 7
  • Free bus travel and concessionary rail travel on appointment following a probationary period of 12 months

Shifts and Training:

  • Early/middle/late/night shifts on a 5/7 day week with rotating shifts upon obtaining full D Licence
  • Initial training provided as well as on-going training and development (including periodic CPC)
