Construction Engineer Opportunity

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a new challenge?
We are seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to join our team.

**Job Summary:**
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out from engineers drawings, site surveys, as-built drawings, reading and interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc., planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved, and managing subcontractors/general workforce on site. They will also be required to maintain the site records, including the site diary, concrete cube register, and records of deliveries, as well as ordering and controlling materials on site.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Setting-out from engineers drawings, site surveys, as-built drawings
- Reading and interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
- Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved
- Liaising with clients representatives/design team members as appropriate
- Management of subcontractors/general workforce on site
- Maintaining site records (site diary, concrete cube register, records of deliveries)
- Ordering and control of materials on site

**Requirements:**
- Engineering degree/diploma
- Experience on construction sites (as work placement or permanent role)
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Full driving license
