**Job Description: National Speech and Language Coordinator**

Duties and Responsibilities

The National Speech & Language Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting therapists across the country, facilitating knowledge sharing, skills development, and performance and service improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating the Speech & Language Therapy services
  • Collaborating with existing therapists to explore best practice and add to the existing knowledge base
  • Providing supervision and support for branch therapists
  • Working with local branches to advise and support the development of new services where needed
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A highly experienced background in intellectual disability services
  • A minimum of 5 years' previous experience
  • Current CORU registration
  • Current IASLT membership
  • Experience of coordinating or managing therapy services for children and adults with Intellectual Disability, including people with Down syndrome
Benefits

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The role is based primarily in Dublin with regular travel to nationwide branches.
