About the Position:

This dynamic role involves providing individualised occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and adolescents, focusing on promoting independence, physical activity, and overall quality of life.

Develop and implement tailored therapy plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and principles of occupational therapy.
Collaborate closely with families, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Effective communication and documentation are crucial aspects of this role, requiring maintenance of accurate and confidential records through computerised clinical systems.

Conduct thorough assessments and develop functional goals, outlining realistic outcomes and recommendations for progression.
Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.

Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues, contributing to a culture of empathy, respect, and open communication.

The successful candidate will hold a Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent), validated for practice in Ireland, and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Accredited membership with AOTI and CORU Registration are essential.
Garda Vetting clearance and satisfactory references required.
Access to own car for travel purposes, including school visits.
