Job Title: IT Systems Analyst

The IT Systems Analyst role is a key position within the Tara IT department, responsible for systems and processes. Key areas of focus include application management, vendor management, continuous improvement, and service delivery, all aligned with ITIL best practices.

A critical aspect of this role is ensuring that the systems used by Tara meet business needs, identifying suitable alternatives, and providing recommendations for system landscape improvements. A comprehensive understanding of the overall system landscape in Tara and Boliden is required.

This multifunctional role contributes to the wider IT Team in Tara, supporting other areas as needed. Cybersecurity is paramount, and the successful candidate will prioritize this aspect in all implementations.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Application lifecycle management, including support and maintenance
  2. Owning and managing application implementation projects
  3. Service-Desk coordination and support
  4. Workplace coordination and organization
  5. Ensuring service delivery aligns with ITIL standards
  6. System landscape management and optimization
  7. Assisting with training plans to ensure effective end-user adoption of new solutions
  8. Cross-functional collaboration and flexible work practices
  9. Performing other duties as required by your supervisor, including relief for team members.

  1. Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  2. Experience implementing complex interdependent systems and data flows

  4. Background in IT, with problem-solving skills
  5. Experience working in fast-paced environments
Additional Information:
  1. This position offers a one-year fixed-term contract
  2. Full-time employment, 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
  3. Maintenance of additional hours to meet business needs, with some international travel involved
