We are seeking a leader to oversee a team of social care professionals.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding position, requiring a deep understanding of social care principles and practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team to provide high-quality care and support to service users.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a team of social care professionals.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the quality of care and support provided by the team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services and achievement of organizational objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care. They will also have at least 2 years management experience at a similar level of responsibility and a detailed understanding of developments at national and sectoral level in relation to quality and safety within disability services.
Requirements:- A minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care or in a relevant professional discipline.
- At least 2 years management experience at a similar level of responsibility.
- At least 3 years' experience in the health/social care or voluntary sector.
- Competitive salary with Sunday and Bank Holiday premiums.
