Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care to children and young people with learning disabilities.

The successful candidate will be registered as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of CAMHS Psychiatry or be eligible to obtain specialist registration.

The role involves working collaboratively with academic and clinical colleagues to enhance the hospital's research activities within the research governance framework. You will also participate in providing patient-centred, holistic care to children and young people with learning disabilities, requiring collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families, schools, and other specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to children and young people with learning disabilities
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, schools, and other specialists
  • Participate in enhancing the hospital's research activities within the research governance framework
Requirements:
