Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical professional to join our team in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and be able to design, develop, and validate equipment and systems.

The successful applicant will possess a trade background with a third-level qualification and be able to develop scopes, specifications, and carry out LV design. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand schematics, GA plans, and project specifications
  • Design development, validate equipment and systems
  • Ability to develop scopes, specification, and carrying out LV design
  • Reporting to the Project Manager on project progress, risks, and issues
  • Analyse supplier information for alignment with design specifications
  • Proven record of coordinating on projects
  • Knowledge of Trimble Pro design, Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
  • Ability to drive a large-scale project

Requirements:

  • Experience working on multi-discipline projects
  • A Degree in Engineering or Management plus minimum 5 years post-qualification experience within the industry would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience in LV electrical system and open to developing knowledge in MV/HV
  • Excellent Commercial knowledge and understanding
  • Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office packages, including diagnostic skills
