Residential Development Planner
We are seeking a skilled Residential Development Planner to join our team.
Location: Limerick
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a planner to play a key role in ensuring residential development projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction programmes for housing developments using Asta Powerproject.
- Collaborate with senior management, project managers, site managers, design, and commercial teams to align programmes with strategic objectives.
- Sequence works logically, incorporating lead times, procurement schedules, statutory approvals, and utilities coordination specific to Irish residential projects.
- Analyze critical paths, key milestones, and potential risks, proposing mitigation strategies where necessary.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to validate lead times and integrate them into the programme.
- Showcase a strong technical understanding of the Irish housebuilding process – from greenfield site to handover, including groundworks, utilities, timber frame/traditional build, and fit-out. Knowledge of Irish construction regulations, planning requirements, and BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations) is essential.
- Demonstrate minimum 3–5 years' experience in planning within residential construction.
Successful applicants will possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
