About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in defining software requirements and assuming leadership of operational and technical projects.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing functional software solutions, working closely with senior management to drive projects forward.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience working with agile methodologies.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing functional software solutions
  • Collaborating with senior management to define software requirements
  • Assuming leadership of operational and technical projects

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
  • Extensive experience in software development, scripting, and project management
  • Knowledge of selected programming languages (e.g. Python, C++) and the Java/J2EE platform
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
  • Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree
