As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives within their residential home and community.

• Empower service users to make informed decisions about their daily lives, promoting independence and autonomy.
• Transport service users to facilitate access to daily living activities, such as education, employment, and leisure activities.
• Contribute to household duties, including cooking, laundry, cleaning, and shopping, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Maintain effective communication and relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless team collaboration and coordination.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with daily tasks, implementing safe work practices and reporting any concerns or hazards.
• Engage actively in team meetings, supervisions, training, and events, demonstrating commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain a high standard of care and adherence to relevant regulations and standards.

• Possession of a QQI Level 5 major award in the Healthcare Sector or equivalent qualification.
• Age 18+ years old.
• Holding a full clean manual driving license and access to own transport.
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and guidelines.
• Previous experience working in social care or a related field.
