Senior Cyber Security Specialist

The role of a Senior Cyber Security Specialist is crucial in the implementation and maintenance of Privilege Access Management (PAM) solutions. This position involves leading experience in PAM, ensuring alignment with security and business goals.

This Senior Security specialist will report to the Endpoint Security Manager within Central Security Services and be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and responding to alerts generated by PAM solutions.
  • Delivering the PAM service according to the strategic roadmap.
  • Assisting with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of all components of the CyberArk solution.
  • Supporting version upgrades, patching, and regular maintenance of a complex environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Information Security or IT, or equivalent work or education-related experience, and at least five years' experience using CyberArk in an IT Security industry role.

Key Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good troubleshooting skills and ability to independently resolve technical issues.
  • Experience with Network and Endpoint Defence strategies and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to collaborate with vendors and stakeholders for complex technical issues.
  • Scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python) to support automation.

Candidates should also hold recognized certifications such as Security +, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), PAM Vendor certificates (e.g. CyberArk Trustee Certification), SAN's certificates.
