Job Title: Project Engineer

Project Opportunity:

A leading environmental solutions provider seeks an experienced project manager to join their team in a support capacity.

The successful candidate will work through the full lifecycle of projects in design, procurement, and build, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.

  • Working on Irish Water contracts, mostly on water treatment plants throughout the country.
  • Updating design drawings, technical reports, and submittals, including risk assessments and method statements.
  • Planning, scheduling, and coordinating all work on sites, including labor and equipment, while overseeing Health & Safety and Quality.
  • Carrying out site visits throughout the various stages of each project to ensure works are carried out to a high standard.
  • Assisting with monitoring and controlling budget and expenditure.

Required Expertise:

  • An electrical background is preferred (Electrician, Electrical Engineer)
  • A mechanical background will be considered if the candidate has exposure to projects in water treatment or process engineering.
  • Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer is highly beneficial.
  • Experience in Process Industries is extremely advantageous (Water, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage).
  • A Building Services background will also be considered.
