Asset Fund Specialist

This role involves representing asset managers by drafting key fund documentation such as prospectuses and supplements. Negotiating and drafting material fund contracts including administration and depositary agreements, investment management agreements, and management agreements is also a key responsibility. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years PQE, strong technical skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Represent asset managers by drafting key fund documentation such as prospectuses and supplements.
  • Negotiate and draft material fund contracts including administration and depositary agreements, investment management agreements, and management agreements.
  • Apply to the Central Bank and obtain authorization for asset managers to act as discretionary investment managers to UCITS and QIAIFs.
  • Discuss new funds with both start-up and experienced managers.
  • Apply for the registration of UCITS and QIAIFs with foreign regulatory authorities.
  • Advise clients on the application of fund regulations to their business, including registering firms with the Central Bank as a Registered AIFM.
  • Review fund documentation.
