Job Title: Sales Assistant - Retail Merchandising

About the Job:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled sales assistant to join our team as a retail merchandiser. As a merchandiser, you will be responsible for maximizing the visibility of FMCG products in store, stock rotation, and replenishment of stock on display units and sections.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and growth of planogram space to optimize product visibility.
  • Ensure all products have correct SEL placed in front of the product for efficient customer experience.
  • Merchandise all promotional ends and ensure correct pricing is in place for accurate sales tracking.
  • Capture before and after photographs for performance evaluation.
  • Liaise with store manager prior to leaving to ensure they are satisfied with work completed.

Key Requirements:

  • Fully clean driving license with car is essential for travel between stores.
  • Familiarity with technology is required for effective data management.
  • Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills are necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues and store managers.
  • Good Organisational Skills are required to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Some merchandising or retail experience is desirable but not essential; however, hardworking, polite, and professional attitude is mandatory.
