About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned retail professional to lead our store team. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Live and breathe our brand values: proud, energetic, imaginative, and community-based
- Ensure the smooth running of the store, including employee rostering and annual leave management
- Set and achieve sales targets with your team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Implement planograms correctly and maintain a visually appealing store environment
- Develop and promote good communication between employees and management in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
- Deal with customer queries efficiently, professionally, and consistently with store policy
- Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant retail management position
- An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets
- Strong knowledge and experience of reading and actioning reports
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication skills
- Good delegation skills
- Highly driven with a strong work ethic
- A passion for grocery retail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
