About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled freight professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of European trade lanes. As a Road Freight Forwarder, you will take ownership of the planning process across key European routes.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan and coordinate full-load and groupage road freight movements across Europe.
  2. Manage the complete door-to-door operation, including collection, transit, customs (where applicable), and delivery.
  3. Maintain strong communication with hauliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  4. Monitor schedules, respond to delays, and implement contingency plans as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in road freight forwarding or transport operations, ideally within a European context.
  • In-depth knowledge of European trade lanes and associated transit times.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in transport management systems is an advantage.
