Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure that supports large volumes of requests. Key responsibilities include designing and building cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy high-performance cloud infrastructure using industry-leading tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure improvements.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline deployment processes.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provide expert-level support for cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on infrastructure design and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including VPC, ALB, EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, Route53, RDS, ElastiCache, and SQS.
  • Experience working with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes, including workload tuning and autoscaling.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Go preferred).
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including routing, DNS, and load balancing.
  • Familiarity with CDN/Edge systems and their interaction with backend systems.
  • Ability to debug distributed systems issues across Edge, Network, Compute, and Storage layers.
  • Knowledge of observability stacks and tools like Splunk and New Relic.
  • Familiarity with SRE practices, including SLOs and SLAs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
