Product Marketing Senior Consultant

The product marketing team for finance and quote to cash is part of the larger product marketing organization. This team runs product marketing for all products related to price calculation, differentiation, and distribution.

  • Keep track of market demand and requirements in the field of expertise.
  • Interact with market analysts for positioning the SAP product portfolio.
  • Advise product management and engineering about outside-in views and trends.
  • Understand SAP's products on a technical level to gain a comprehensive view on ways of positioning the product externally.
  • Lead and advise on price changes and the products' pricing strategy.
  • Manage the creation of marketing assets along the customer interaction journey with SAP products.
  • Lead and advise on the go-to-market strategy for the products (sales channel strategy, demand generation strategies, sales plays).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of experience in at least two of the following fields: Consulting/Pre-sales for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Sales & Distribution, Product Marketing for a cloud software product addressing a global market, Sales Experience for SAP Cloud ERP, SAP CX, or a Partner product for Pricing, Product Management/Development Management Experience in relevant areas, Consulting/System Integration Experience in the relevant areas.
  • Collaborative and adaptive team spirit to work across organizations and cultural geographies.
  • Strong management communication skills applying concepts such as pyramid principle and M.E.C.E.
  • Execution focus.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal.
