Job Title: Yard Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Yard Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for safely operating yard equipment, including trucks and tractors, to ensure efficient movement of trailers in and out of docks and around the yard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate yard trucks with trailers, navigating through tight spaces and maneuvering around other vehicles.
  • Back trailers up to dock doors, often with multiple trailers on each side of the dock.
  • Maintain safe truck and trailer operating skills, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
  • Track and communicate trailer movements using a controlled system.
  • Lift heavy loads (up to 60#) as needed.
Requirements:
  • A valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
