About Our Client

Our client is a reputable contract manufacturer of single-use medical devices, serving the global market for over 35 years. They have a strong presence in Buffalo, NY, and operate facilities in Ireland and Mexico.

Role Summary

The Project Engineer will be responsible for providing manufacturing support, implementing process improvements, and leading projects across various product lines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing manufacturing support and guidance.
  • Leading process improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Managing projects and introducing new processes as necessary.
  • Conducting process and product validations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a medical device manufacturing engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of medical device validation protocols and associated documentation.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Solid Works.
  • Lean and six sigma knowledge.

This role demands a solid process engineering background and a good understanding of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485 standards.
