The role of Person in Charge is a key position within our client's Children Residential Service. As the successful candidate, you will work closely with our well-established client who is expanding their services to support displaced children and young people seeking asylum.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a residential childcare service and make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage Residential Care Services
  • Ensure HIQA Standards are Met
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans
  • Maintain Accurate Records and Reports
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 Years' Experience in residential childcare or managing services for vulnerable children
  • Professional Degree (Level 7) in Social Care or relevant qualification
  • Experience in Managing Children Residential Services
  • Level 6 Management Qualification
  • Full Driving License and access to own transport
  • Working Knowledge of Legislation and HIQA standards of care
