Job Title: Laboratory Operations Manager

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Operations Manager to lead and coach group leaders, scientists, and project managers in laboratory operations. This includes scheduling, resource management, technical and compliance-related issues.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

The role involves planning, directing, and implementing improvements in systems, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality in the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Resource Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage the day-to-day activities of laboratory personnel, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Technical and Compliance-Related Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensure compliance with relevant protocols, methods, and SOPs, and maintain accurate records.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance laboratory operations, increase efficiency, and improve quality.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years of management responsibility and proven leadership skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Full understanding of laboratory requirements, PPD and client SOPs, ICH guidelines, USP requirements, and FDA guidance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and business development teams.
