Job Title: Consultant General Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant General Surgeon with a special interest in Hepatobiliary Surgery and Liver Transplantation.

About the Position
  • This is a permanent, full-time position involving working 27 hours per week at a hospital and 10 hours per week at another hospital location.
Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality surgical care to patients requiring general surgery services.
  • Develop and maintain a strong clinical practice, including performing surgeries and managing patient care.
  • Participate in teaching and education of medical students and junior doctors.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to general surgery services.
Requirements
  • A degree in Medicine (MBBCh/BCh or equivalent).
  • Completion of specialist training in General Surgery (FRCSEd or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-training experience in General Surgery.
  • Special interest in Hepatobiliary Surgery and Liver Transplantation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
