Job Description

A specialist tax firm based in Dublin 4 is seeking a tax professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in either personal tax or corporate tax and be able to interpret tax legislation.


The role involves meeting key clients on a regular basis, drafting client advice letters and memos, and liaising with Revenue in respect of revenue interventions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for representing clients on appeals to TAC and supervising tax trainees.


Our client is a dynamic and growing tax firm that prides itself on providing practical solutions to complex taxation matters. They are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative and be organised to meet deadlines.


About the Role


- Meeting key clients on a regular basis.


- Drafting client advice letters and memos.


- Liaising with Revenue in respect of revenue interventions.


- Representing clients on appeals to TAC.


- Supervising tax trainees.


- Researching complex taxation matters over all tax heads.


- Preparing and reviewing tax computations and income tax returns to ensure compliance with corporate and personal tax filing deadlines.


  • Qualified CTA and ideally a professional accountancy qualification.
  • At least 1-2 years post qualification with specific tax experience in either personal tax or corporate tax.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be organised to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret tax legislation.
