Senior UX Designer Role

Are you a passionate designer with expertise in crafting intuitive user experiences for AI technologies? We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic team, focused on delivering world-class agentic and assistant experiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of current AI technology and UX design principles, enabling them to create interfaces that mirror human cognition and behaviour.

**About the Team**

Our AI Experiences team is dedicated to making Workday's artificial intelligence experiences a competitive advantage by delivering intuitive features that build trust in AI for the enterprise. As part of this team, you will work alongside talented designers and product managers to shape the future of AI-powered products. With a collaborative nature and strong communication skills, you will be able to bring stakeholders along with your designs, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. You will also contribute to creating clear, comprehensive resources for developers building on Workday.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you must possess:
  • 4+ years of industry experience in UX design (relevant experience may be considered if other requirements are met)
  • 1+ year of experience building AI products
  • A degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial) or Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Library Sciences, Computer Science (CS) or a related field
Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools like Figma or Sketch is a plus, as well as experience with artificial intelligence tooling to create prototypes or designing for Generative AI experiences. Your online portfolio should demonstrate a deep appreciation for simple, sleek, usable interfaces and a passion for mastering complex platforms and interfaces. By leveraging your deep knowledge and experience, you will challenge traditional methods and strive to deliver elegant web and mobile interactions that delight users. Your excellent presentation and communication skills enable you to craft compelling narratives around your work that are clear, memorable, and impactful.
