Technical Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead R&D Mechatronic development programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with customers, liaising with functional leads, and presenting project updates to peers and management.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead R&D Mechatronic development programs.
  • Coordinate and communicate with customers in a clear manner as the main technical interface between R&D and the customer.
  • Liaise with functional leads to drive project timeline and ensure R&D Mechatronic planning is in place to meet project milestones.
  • Ensure project timeline risks are understood, highlighted, and mitigated.
  • Liaise with functional managers to compile R&D costs for RFIs/RFPs.
  • Present project updates to peers, colleagues, and management.
  • Support other disciplines outside R&D in bringing the project to start of production (SOP).
  • Support all related SOP activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Priority Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management of multidisciplinary teams in regulated environments such as automotive, medical devices, or similar environments.
  • Experience in dealing with customers with the ability to interpret customer requests with clear communication.
  • Fluent in English with a clear and confident communication ability.
  • Extensive experience in planning projects and using planning tools such as MS Project or similar planning tools.
