About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer to join our team at Cpl Healthcare. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing current and next-generation medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Product Development Team to design and develop medical devices from concept generation through to commercial release.
  • Support product development by participating in prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
  • Liaise with stakeholders from manufacturing and quality to ensure efficient operations and meet production goals.
  • Analyse hardware failures and participate in corrective and preventive actions.
  • Utilize CAD software such as Spice, Altium, and Matlab to perform necessary design activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or similar discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience in the medical device industry in a product development or manufacturing role.
  • Fundamental electronics knowledge with experience in digital and low-noise analog circuits.
  • Programming languages C and C++ and embedded hardware fundamentals related to microcontrollers and interfaces.
  • Liaising with PCB fabricators and PCBA vendors, including IPC standards for surface mount technology.
