Operate and maintain a manufacturing facility in Cork city, Ireland. FMCG Multinational requires an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to lead the maintenance team, manage daily activities, and ensure seamless operations.

About the Role:

  • Actively coach and support teams in implementing Integrated Work Systems (IWS), driving process improvements, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Deputise for the Maintenance Manager during absences, ensuring smooth operations and performance.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the maintenance team, setting priorities, assigning tasks, and ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Oversee both planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Participate in regular cross-functional meetings to align maintenance goals with operational and business objectives.
Requirements
  • Cities and Guilds qualification or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within a maintenance or engineering team is necessary.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in equipment and system maintenance is essential.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams is required.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage shifting maintenance needs effectively, are needed.
