Accountant Role

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. This is a dynamic role that requires strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in financial services.

The successful candidate will have expertise in setting up and maintaining general ledgers, posting journal entries, and preparing annual statutory financial statements. They will also be responsible for liaising with auditors and preparing routine management accounts.

  • Set up and maintain general ledgers for new and existing clients
  • Post journal entries and keep up-to-date accounting records
  • Prepare annual statutory financial statements
  • Liaise with auditors to produce audited financial statements
  • Prepare routine management accounts

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant
  • 3+ years' experience in a relevant role in an accounting firm or financial services company
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with some audit experience
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
